Regions Bank Selected As Financial Partner

We are proud to be associated with Regions Bank as our banking partner. Regions is one of the top bank holding companies in the United States. This new association began in April 2011, but Regions is certainly not new to Security Management. They have been a client for many years. Our most significant contribution to Regions was during the Hurricane catastrophes. We provided security services to their offices during this trying time. We also perform seasonal and holiday security services for the bank. Selecting Regions as our financial partner is another step in a long and valuable relationship.

The topics chosen initially are as follows:

•      Golf Cart Safety

Additional training currently taking place includes:

•      Firearms Re-Certification
New topics will be introduced as the year progresses.

Our Company is on track to complete more than 1,700 individual training sessions on the above topics by the end of April '09.

Based on our current trend, we will complete more than 6,000 "On the Spots" by the end of this year.

Two Officers Help Save Students From Burning School Bus

When a school bus carrying nine children, ages 5 to 10, caught fire in April in front of the Hampton Hall guradhouse, a routine ride turned quickly into a scary and dangerous adventure. Thanks to two of our officers at Hampton Hall in Bluffton, SC, and the Bluffton Township firefighters, no one was injured. Officers Demetria Yancey and Laqwanda Hutchinson helped escort nine children and one adult to safety after the bus caught fire. The engine compartment and rear third of the bus were torched.

Response To Hurricane Disaster

Officers from Security Management of South Carolina responded quickly in Sept. 2008 when two major hurricanes struck Louisiana and Texas.

A team of 25 security professionals traveled to the sites after Hurricane Gustav and Hurricane Ike, the third worst storm ever to hit the US, made landfall and left a swath of destruction in their paths. These officers provided professional security services to cover client property during these most trying times. All involved worked long hours and many slept in cars and sleeping bags.
Our own Doug Pate managed a large team of officers along the Lousianna coast, Houston, and Galveston. Our 2007 Employee of the Year, Cpt. Perry Harrington, managed a team of officers in Beaumont, Texas.
